Santiago Serrano (Villacañas, 1942) has dedicated more than five decades to building one of the most coherent trajectories of Spanish painting. His work moves between memory and abstraction, exploring matter, gesture and time as plastic territories where painting becomes experience.
In this exhibition at Marquesa Gallery, we present a selection of pieces that go through different stages of their work. The visitor will find a dialogue between historical works and recent creations, which reveal the strength of an ever-evolving language and fidelity to a deeply personal look.
