This was the Contemporary Art Fair Marte 2026
Last weekend we had the opportunity to participate in the Contemporary Art Fair Marte 2026, in Castellón de la Plana. Mars is presented as a project aimed at "giving voice to contemporary art" and bringing it in turn to diverse audiences, facilitating closer access and accessible to the general public.

Introducing our artists Marcos Temoche and Dina Roudman while enjoying the show. We had the opportunity to share time and space with friends, collectors and colleagues as well as to meet wonderful new people.
The work of Dina Roudman is marked by gesture, memory and psychological exploration. The central theme of his work is the construction of identity, influenced in his case by constant migration. It invites us to reflect through painting, using abstraction as a medium, on the liberation and memory of childhood. His work emerges through layers, constructions, erasures and reconstructions, as well as his own identity.

Marcos Temoche treats the sense of identity in the same way, but from a purely figurative artistic practice. Through his works he talks about cultural hybridization, exploring how the customs of origin and new environments are intertwined. The human figure functions as a transit territory, blurred and reconfigured. Their chromatic codes underline the constant friction in the construction of the “I” during migration.

The days of the fair coincided with the birthday of our great friend Lluis Guilera and that of the great artist Juana González.
In addition, we had the opportunity to visit the Museum of Contemporary Art of Vilafamés, where we found a piece by our beloved and important artist Santiago Serrano. This museum is characterized by the insertion of contemporary art in a historical and rural space, such as the Batle Palace, a Valencian civil Gothic building built in the mid-15th century.

In conclusion, our experience at the Contemporary Art Fair has been full of fun, beautiful moments and full of new experiences.
