Nixolline — full name Nikola Halabuková (Liberec, 1994) — is an abstract artist whose work is born from an intuitive approach: each painting emerges as an immediate reaction to an instant, to a state of mind and body.
In his work he links abstraction with expressive gesture. He is particularly interested in contrasts: he unites the crude with the fragile, spontaneous chaos with an inner order. The canvases show symbolic signs and visual metaphors that open a space for personal interpretation.
Its inspiration comes above all from life itself and the world around it. The processes of nature, the universe, the energy of movement and the polarities that are reflected both in the environment and in human emotions and bonds have a central role.
