4. Secundino Hernández – Total station

Where: MUSAC – Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Castilla y León, León · When: All August

9. Pere Llobera – In my father’s house

Where: Es Baluard, Palma de Mallorca · When: Until 25 August

An intimate and pictorial exhibition that traces the artist’s family memory through domestic scenes, affective images and cultural nods. Llobera recovers the expressionist gesture as a means of telling personal stories. Honest, emotional and symbol-laden painting.

10. Joan Miró – Sculpture and material

Where: Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró, Palma de Mallorca · When: Until 15 September

🔗 See exhibition

Miró’s sculptural side takes centre stage in this exhibition, which presents pieces in bronze, ceramics and assembled objects created in the last years of his life. The most special: they are exhibited in their old workshops, now converted into a museum. A direct trip to the physical and mental universe of the artist.

In August we closed the doors of Marquesa Gallery, but art continues to beat across the country. We hope this selection inspires you to look, explore and let yourself be surprised. And in September, with renewed energy, we are waiting for you with new proposals, artists and experiences in our gallery in Carabanchel.

Happy summer, and happy artistic route.
